When the lots have left the European Union's, your carrier will receive an exit document from the customs. Follow Your Lots

You can follow a lot in several ways: Go to the specific lot you want to follow and click on 🖤 at the top of the page. You are now following this lot.

You can find all tracked lots on the 'Follow your lots' page (🖤 icon on top of the page).

You can stop tracking a lot by unclicking the 🖤 icon at the lot.

Placing Bid

Before you definitively confirm your bid, you will receive an overview with all amounts that apply to your bid, which form the total price. On top of your offer, a buyer’s premium and VAT will be calculated. The buyer’s premium depends on the country where the auction is organized. The VAT will be charged on top of your bid and the buyer’s premium.

Through 'Follow your lots,' you can see which lots you have placed a bid on and which lots you are the highest bidder on. Lots, where you are the highest bidder, will be marked with a green gavel, while lots where you have been outbid will have a red exclamation mark.

After the entire auction has closed, Dome Auctions strives to award the lots and send the invoices as soon as possible, but no later than 48 hours. After receiving the confirmation, you can make the payment and schedule the transport for the stated pick-up date.

To place a bid on a lot, go to the lot page you are interested in. You can place your bid on the right side of this page. Click 'View your bid,' where you will receive an explanation of the total amount. Then, click on 'Place bid.' Once your bid is placed, it cannot be withdrawn. Alternatively, you can bid directly on the lots you track through the 'Track your lots' page by clicking the 'Place your bid' button. Through a two-step verification process, you can easily bid without having to visit each lot page separately.

A combination is a collection of several lots that are offered together in the auction. This will be clearly stated in the individual lots and is recognizable by the symbol [C], along with a reference to the combination lot under the lot description. This allows you to purchase an entire combination in one go. A combination lot will not open for bidding until the bidding process has been completed on all individual lots in the combination. The opening bid of a combination is the sum of all final prices of the individual lots, plus the next bidding step. Please note that if a bid is placed on a combination, all bids on the individual lots will expire. If no bids are placed on the combination, each individual lot will be assigned to the highest bidder of that lot.

After you have received the invoice, you can be certain of your purchase. After the entire auction has closed, Dome Auctions strives to award the lots and send the invoices as soon as possible, but no later than 48 hours.

No, the bidding process is set up in such a way – with two-step verification – that it is virtually impossible to place a bid by mistake. Before confirming your bid, you can still cancel it. However, once a bid is placed, it is binding and cannot be retracted.

An auto bid the User indicates the maximum price he is prepared to pay for the Lot. The auction system sees to it that, after outbidding by a third party, the minimally possible higher bid is introduced in the name of the User, as long as the maximum indicated by the User has not been reached. An auto bid can be eliminated by the User solely by placing a static bid that at that moment is the highest bid. You can cancel your automatic bid by placing a static bid at the amount of the next minimum acceptable bid. At this point, you are still the highest bidder until you are outbid. It is not possible to cancel a bid.

Static Bid: A bid where you determine the fixed amount of your bid. Auto-Bid: When you place a proxy bid, you indicate your maximum bid. The system will track the progress of the bids and, if necessary, will automatically outbid others on your behalf, up to the maximum amount you initially specified. If someone else places a higher bid than your auto-bid, you will no longer be the highest bidder and will be notified by email. If someone else places a static bid that matches your auto-bid, your auto-bid will take priority (an auto-bid beats a static bid).
